Most fifth wheels start with a frame and add parts to it. The Fortis chassis was engineered to work as one integrated structural system. Its 17" stacked tube construction and interlocked Z-beam design are tied together by a full-length integrated steel middeck that runs from front to back. That makes a chassis that's stronger and more rigid, built to carry true residential luxury down the road. The open-span front design keeps the frame out of the way, so the pass-through storage is completely unobstructed. Paired with a tandem axle dual rear wheel setup, MORryde® independent suspension and hydraulic disc brakes, the Fortis gives Aurum superior towing, stability and handling.
